Plan your next trip with optimised charging stops, real-world range and realistic journey times. Free, nothing to install.

Before you read how we do it

Try it

Choose a start and a destination. The demo walks through the six steps of the real engine and returns your route with optimised stops, total time and a comparison with naive planning.

  • 12 demo cities · the app covers 300+
  • Deterministic results based on real data
  • Animation of the engine's 6 steps
  • Time comparison vs. an unplanned route

How we do it

Behind every route, a calculated decision

Planning an EV trip looks simple: set off, stop to charge, arrive. Underneath is a continuous calculation of physics, energy and time that you should not have to do yourself. This is the part you see when you press Plan. The part you do not see is here.

  • A real physics model, not flat estimates

Every stretch of the trip is calculated with aerodynamics, gradient, speed, weight and temperature. Energy recovered on descents is taken into account too.

  • Measured charging curves for each vehicle

Every car charges differently. We use curves measured for each model, not the peak power the manufacturer advertises. The predicted charging time is the one you will actually get.

  • A car catalogue with model-specific data

Hundreds of models, including Spanish-market variants. The base efficiency and charging behaviour of your exact car, not a generic average.

  • Chargers with a reliability track record

Choosing stops is not just about knowing where chargers are: what matters is whether they work. We combine location, power and historical behaviour to prioritise the ones that will actually serve you.

Methodology

How we calculate your route

Six steps that happen in milliseconds every time you press plan. Scroll down to watch them live.

  1. Your car

    We understand your car

Real capacity, base efficiency and its own charging curve. Your exact model, not a segment average.

  2. Physics

    We model the journey physically

Real gradient, speed limits, weight, wind and climate control: recalculated every one or two kilometres.

Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask

  • How much does the route planner cost?
The route planner is free. You can use it in your browser without signing up or downloading anything.
  • Do I need to sign up to use it?
No. Open the route planner, enter your car, start and destination, and it calculates your route straight away. Signing up is optional and only used to save routes or sync with the app.
  • Which EV models does it support?
Hundreds of models, including Spanish-market variants. Each one with its own base efficiency and charging curve.
  • How accurate are the range and charging time predictions?
Consumption is calculated segment by segment with a real physics model: aerodynamics, gradient, speed, weight, temperature and energy recovery. Charging time uses curves measured for each model, adjusted for temperature and battery level when you reach the stop.
  • Does it work outside Spain?
It has good-quality data for Spain and Portugal, and also lets you plan across the rest of Europe with the charging network and the models in our catalogue.
  • Does it take the weather into account?
Yes. Outside temperature and conditions along the way affect consumption (climate control, wind, rain), and the model reflects this in the calculation for each stretch.
  • Can I use the route planner without installing the app?
Yes, this page links to the web route planner. If you would rather carry it in your pocket, it is also in the free app for iOS and Android.
